RCA YOUTH

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12

Our youth are our future, the ones who will carry on and spread the name of Jesus for generations to come. And it is our job as the local church to build up our youth in their faith and walk with Christ in order for them to be strong, knowledgeable and filled with the Spirit to be the examples that the apostle Paul wrote about in the verse above. We fully believe that God is filling this next generation with His Spirit in order for them to reach souls and bring in those who don’t know Him yet, as it says in Acts 2:17:

“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” As God does His work in our youth, we want to be the spiritual support system as the church that upholds them in prayer and provides them with direction and avenues to express their God-given talents and abilities. By holding weekly gatherings, special meetings/events and worship nights, we intend to help the youth realize their potential and power in Christ and set them up to be the light and salt that the world so desperately needs.

JIMS

“JIMS” is the name given to the Youth Club of RCA (The abbreviation for JIMS stands for “Jesus Is My Saviour”).  It is open to any youth who desire to seek the “Truth” with an open mind and be a member of this club.

This club will associate itself and function within the teachings of the “Word of God” from the HOLY BIBLE with the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT.

This youth club is formed as an extension of the Redeemer Christ Assembly of Brampton to build up and strengthen the youths to be God fearing and responsible law abiding citizens and also continue to serve the Lord and to extend HIS Kingdom.  “JIMS” members will directly come under the spiritual guidance of the RCA and the Pastors associated with the advancement of JIMS. RCA Pastor will be the Patron of the “JIMS”.

The enlightening Bible verses for JIMS are as follows:

  • “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for he shall save his people from their sins.” – Math. 1: 21

  • “The next day John seeth JESUS coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world.” – Jn. 1: 29

  • “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth …” – Rom. 1: 16

  • “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son (JESUS), that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. – Jn. 3: 16

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

“Salvation” of each and everyone who joins and come in contact with “JIMS” is the only and ultimate aim and objective.

The Hebrew and the Greek words for “salvation” imply the idea of deliverance, safety, preservation, healing, and soundness.

“Salvation” is the great inclusive word of the Gospel, gathering into itself all the redemptive acts and processes; as justification, redemption, grace, propitiation, imputation, forgiveness, sanctification and glorification.

“Salvation” is in three tenses:

  1. The Christian has been saved  from the guilt and penalty of sin by grace.

  2. The Christian is being saved from the habit and dominion of sin.

  3. The Christians will be saved at the Lord’s return, and brought into entire conformity to Christ.

The divine order:  Salvation is grace through faith, is a free gift and wholly without works– Rom. 3: 28; Eph. 2: 8-9

Children are a precious gift from God and raising them in His ways is our primary responsibility as Believers. Sunday School is a place where faith, creativity and learning go hand in hand. A place where your children will learn about the God of the Bible.

Here at Redeemer Christ Assembly, we value the spiritual lives of our children. Our desire is to create an environment where children will develop a passionate relationship with God. Our Sunday school kids are taught and trained from the word  of God right from kinder garden. They are taught through bible stories and songs and activities relevant for their age groups.

Redeemer Christ Assembly kids are encouraged to participate and exhibit their talent in various ways for the glory of God. They perform during Christmas using their talents in skits and Christmas choir. They actively participate every year in the Annual memory verse contest and excel with Prizes. They are also involved in evangelism by distributing CD’s every year during March Break.

Our Sunday School is held after the  Church Service.

Sunday School is held in two  Groups :

Group 1 : Kindergarten  – Grade 2
